Xavier Athletics has launched a new season ticket referral program for the 2007-08 men's basketball season. The program, called the Xavier Basketball Challenge, rewards existing season ticket holders each time they refer a customer who buys men's basketball season tickets or a mini-plan.

Season ticket holders are entered into the Xavier Basketball Challenge when they refer any individual who did not purchase season tickets or mini-plan last season. For each min-plan sold, fans will receive one point, or one entry into the grand prize raffle. For each non-premium full-season ticket sold, fans will receive two points or entries into the raffle. Each premium seating referral will result in three points or entries into the raffle. Referrals can be made online by logging onto goxavier.com, by contacting the Cintas Center Ticket Office at 513 745-3411, or by having the person you refer provide your name upon ordering their new tickets.

In addition to receiving an entry in to the grand prize raffle, fans will receive a Xavier basketball t-shirt for the first season ticket or mini-plan sold.

The Grand Prize: An all expense trip for two to the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championship in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The prize will include:

Roundtrip airfare for two

Two all-session tickets for the A-10 Championship

Three nights hotel accommodations

Second Place: Sit courtside with Byron Larkin & Joe Sunderman as they make the radio call.

Third Place: VIP Tour of Cintas Center on game day and two press row passes.

The 2007-08 season promises to be exciting as the Musketeers welcome 17 opponents to Cintas Center including Creighton, Cincinnati, Dayton, Tennessee, and Virginia. Help us fill Cintas Center by referring your friends, family members, neighbors, and co-workers and win great Xavier prizes.

What do I win?

All fans will receive a Xavier Basketball t-shirt with their first successful referral.

In addition, for each successful referral season ticket holders will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win one of three great prizes.

Fans will receive two points for each full-season ticket sold.

Fans will receive three points for each premium seat sold.

The Xavier Basketball Challenge ends on November 2, 2007. Xavier Athletics will add up your points and announce the grand prize, second and third place raffle winners online at goxavier.com on Monday, November 5, 2007.

How can I refer someone?
You can refer any friends, family, coworkers, or other associates by logging on to www.goxavier.com and filling out their proper information or by sending an e-mail with all pertinent information to tickets@xavier.edu. Referrals can also be made by contacting a Xavier Athletics ticket representative at (513) 745-3411. You may only refer individuals that did not purchase a season ticket plan in 2006-07.

What kind of ticket purchases are eligible for referral points?
Any mini-pack or full season ticket (premium, faculty/staff, or recent grad) will earn you points in the Xavier Basketball Challenge.

The person I am referring was not Xavier Basketball season ticket holder in 2006-07 but he/she was formerly a Xavier Basketball season ticket holder. Am I still eligible to receive points?
Yes. You are eligible to earn points for any Xavier men's basketball ticket plan purchased by someone who is not currently a season ticket holder or was not a ticket holder in 2006-07.

I was not a season ticket holder in 2006-07, do I earn points when I sign up for 2007-08 season tickets?

Yes! New season ticket holders will earn points when they purchase season tickets in 2007-08.

I persuaded a current Xavier Basketball season ticket holder to renew or upgrade their ticket plan for 2007-08. Am I eligible to earn points?

No. Only new season ticket holders will earn you points. Renewals and upgrades are not eligible.

When do single game tickets go on sale? Do I earn points for selling single game tickets?
Single game tickets go on sale to the general public on October 23, 2007 and fans cannot earn points by only selling single game tickets.

Is there any limit to the number of referrals I can make or points I can earn?
No!! As a season ticket holder you are a great ambassador for Xavier Basketball. Your experience is the best way to let fans know about the excitement of Xavier Basketball at Cintas Center.
