Her back row is coming around which is something she needed to work on and like Chelsea (Campbell) she has learned a great deal since her freshman season." 2007... played in 16 games over 12 matches during her first year as a Musketeer... had a career match versus Delaware State on Sept. 1 when she tallied a career-high four kills, six digs and two assisted blocks in addition to a service ace... had one assist versus IUPUI on Aug. 25.
High School... had an outstanding prep career at Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne, Ind... the outside hitter led the Saints in kills (262) and aces (71) as a junior and finished fourth in the state for aces per game... helped lead her team to its first preseason and regular season conference championship in 38 years... named the 2006 PrepSports Volleyball Player of the Year... was a member of the 2006 Class 3A All-State Second Team as well as an Honorable Mention Academic All-State selection following her senior campaign... in addition to state accolades, she was named to All-Summit Athletic Conference First Team the past three seasons and was a two-time All-Northeast Indiana First Team member... was a member of the Northern Indiana Elite Volleyball Academy (NIEVA) for two years... also a standout tennis player for Dwenger, Voors was named All-SAC First Team and All-State Honorable Mention last season in singles... she helped lead her tennis squad to four consecutive conference titles.
