Deaton on Kaminsky: "Fiercely competitive player that had to play different positions for us as a freshman and now she has moved to the outside. She had a great spring, honing in on her shots and she's ready to step in and be a First-Team All-Conference player." 2006... saw action in all 30 of Xavier's matches as a freshman, playing in 103 games... earned All-Tournament team honors for her play at the Microtel Inn and Suites Coastal Carolina University Classic... twice named A-10 Rookie of the Week (Oct. 16, 30)... earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team roster... her career-high 23 digs over four games versus Temple on Oct. 7 was also a team season high... she posted another career and team season-high at Morehead State on Sept. 26, tallying nine blocks... led the team in digs (324) and was fourth in service aces (20)... set a career high with five aces during her first collegiate match at Ball State on Aug. 25 and finished four matches with four aces... was named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll following both the fall and spring semesters. High School... four-year starter for head coach Steve Shondell at Burris... helped lead the Owls to four straight state titles and a 144-16 overall record over four seasons... was the East Central Volleyball Player of the Year, a 2005-06 member of the ICGSA Academic All-State team and named to the All-American team by Prepvolleyball.com... was also a track standout for Burris, earning the individual titles in the 100, 200 and long jump and helped her team to three conference titles.
