CINCINNATI - The Xavier University women's tennis team hosted Bowling Green Sunday at Mercy Healthplex. The Musketeers fell in a 6-1 decision moving their record to 7-4 overall for the year.

Senior Annie Diedalis defeated Bowling Green's Andrea Volle 7-6, 5-7, 1-0 (7).

XU will return to action Friday, February 29 when they kick-off conference play hosting the Saint Louis Billikens. The match is set to start at 7 p.m.
