Xavier University forward Melissa Zimmerman has been named to the 2007 Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Soccer All-Academic Team. Zimmerman, a junior from Fort Wayne, Ind., was the team's leading scorer in the fall season.

Zimmerman led the Musketeers in goals scored (7) and points scored (15) this past fall. She scored 13 of her team-high 15 points in Atlantic 10 Conference matches.

Zimmerman, an athletic training major, has a 3.73 GPA for her collegiate academic career.
