MADISON, Wisc. - After a full day of rain, the Xavier Women's golf team will not have a chance to improve its standing at the Badger Invitational.  Water pooled on the greens and play was cancelled, making the results from day one final.

Thus, sophomore Mary Beth McKenna opens her 2007-08 season with a top-20 finish at 19th place (nine-over).  Senior Diana Torry finishes tied for 38th and junior Lindsay Cornell tied for 42nd.  Freshman Audrey Fellmeth and Rachel Levi tie for 53rd, and sophomore individual Lindsay Steiner finishes tied for 67th place.

The Musketeers will return to the links next weekend at the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup.
