CINCINNATI- Sophomore Jake Vollmer and freshman El-Hadji Dieng have each been named to the 2007 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer All-Ohio Team as announced by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association.

Vollmer started in all 19 games this past season for XU while recording one goal to go with 12 shots, one assist and three points.  The Carmel, Ind. native co-captained the XU squad in 2007 leading the squad to an 8-10-1 overall record.

The accolades continue to pile up for Dieng who has already been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team as well as the NSCAA All-Region Team.  Dieng finished the season ranked second on the team in goals, with four, assists, with three, and points, with 11. 

Dieng has also earned a spot on the College Soccer News All-Freshman Third Team, marking the fourth postseason accolade he has garnered.  Dieng also earned mention as one of the "100 Freshman to Watch" by CSN prior to the 2007 campaign.
