Dimbi's Goal Lifts Men's Soccer Past Fordham

The win was Xavier's first on the road since November 6, 2005; a 1-0 victory at Dimbi's game-winner came at the 60:20 mark. The two teams played to a scoreless draw in the first half but Dimbi's goal came on XU's first shot attempt of second half after the ball was misplayed by a Ram defender.
Junior goalkeeper Adam Sokolowski notched his third shutout of the season and made four saves on the night. He made a potentially game-saving stop just 3:18 into the first half. Fordham's Grant Kerr struck a shot from just outside the box but Sokolowski made a diving save and punched the ball out of harm's way. The Rams held a 13-to-8 advantage in shots and a 4-to-3 edge in shots on goal. Dan Hajducky stopped two shots for Fordham.
