As a Sophomore 2007: One of the fastest players on the squad, Nakwa was injured for a portion of the season and saw time in only 12 matches ... earned a start at Cincinnati on September 13 ... Tallied his first collegiate assist on October 6 in Xavier's 2-1 win over Western Kentucky. His assist came on Ricky Sutherland's game-winner in the 40th minute ... Recorded another assist during Xavier's next match at Rhode Island.

As a Freshman 2006: Was forced to sit out the first eight games of the season due to injury but came back see significant time in XU's final 11 contests ... Earned a starting assignment in XU's 2-1 win over intrastate foe Dayton on September 30 ... Scored his first collegiate goal in only his third career match. Nakwa took a feed from teammate Chris Miliano and hit a header that found the back of the net at 96:08 to lift XU to a 2-1 overtime win over league rival Rhode Island on October 6 ... His second goal turned out to be even bigger as Nakwa netted the game-tying goal with less than five minutes remaining in the match to knot the score up at 1-1 vs. Charlotte on October 27. That match took place on the final weekend of the regular season as XU earned a critical point in its quest for a postseason berth ... Ended the season in a tie for fifth place with two goals and in seventh place on the team with four points.

High School: 2004 and 2005 Team MVP ... All-State First Team 2004 and 2005 ... Named to Regional All-Tournament Team in 2004 and 2005 ... 2003 Rookie of the Year ... Scored 76 career goals over three seasons.
