Xavier Golf Finishes Seventh at Landfall Invitational

CINCINNATI - The Xavier University men's golf team finished seventh in a field of 12 at the Landfall Invitational held at the Country Club at Landfall in Wilmington, N.C. Senior Andy Connell paced the Musketeers firing rounds of 75-69-77 finishing tied for 14th at five over par. Sophomore Kieran Lovelock followed Connell shooting 76-71-79 finishing tied at 19th with a 10 over par 226. Junior Michael Beausejour shot a 12 over par 228 finishing in a tie for 30th while junior Kyle Hodges fired rounds of 81-74-76 finishing in a tie for 38th with a 15 over par 231. Senior Brian Keating rounded out the team shooting 238 and finishing tied for 53rd. XU will return to action when the team travels to Howie in the Hills, Fla. November 5-7 to compete in the Wolverine Mission Inn Invitational hosted by Michigan.
