Final Results

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The Xavier University men's golf team finished in a tie for ninth place at the Wolverine Invitational at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.  The Invitational was held at the Par 72, 6293 yard El Campeon Course at the Mission Inn Resort. 

Leading the way for Xavier was freshman Peter O'Neill who fired a 11-over-par 227 (77-76-74) to finish in a tie for 20^th.  The 227 earned the freshman his first top-20 finish of the year.  His previous best was a tie for 28^th at the Xavier Invitational in October. 

Classmate Broc Raymond also had a solid showing for XU, finishing in a tie for 20^th.  Raymond, who was competing as an individual, fired a pair of 73's to begin the tournament but finished with a third-round 83. 

Kieran Lovelock was one shot behind O'Neill and Lovelock after shooting rounds of 75-75-78 while Mike Beausejour was the fourth Musketeer to finish in the top-30 with a 13-over-par 229 (76-74-79). 

The Mission Inn Invitational was XU's final tournament of the fall season.  The Musketeers will be back in action on February 29 - March 2 when the travel to Dade City, Fla. to compete at the Ron Smith/USF Invitational.
