Final Results

LOVELAND, Ohio - Junior Mike Beausejour was one of three Musketeers to card a 67 on Tuesday afternoon in the final round of the Xavier Invitational, played at the par 72 Oasis Golf Course in Loveland, Ohio.  Freshmen Peter O'Neill and Diego Tamayo also shot 67 on Tuesday to lead XU to a fifth-place finish in the event.  

Marquette took home the championship hardware with a 23-under par 841 after shooting a final round 280 (-8) to beat Western Carolina and Campbell by two shots.  

Western Kentucky's Brent Long earned medalist honors with rounds of 68-67-68 - 203 (-13).  Long bested Akron's Colin Clemente by one shot even though Clemente's final-round 66 tied for the best round of the day.  

Andy Connell shot a third-round 71 to go along with his teammate's three 67's as the Musketeers' put together a final round 272; a third-round low.

XU will be back in action on Tuesday, October 8 when the team travels to Memphis, Tenn. to compete in the Memphis Intercollegiate.
