Final Results

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Freshman Peter O'Neill fired a one-over par 217 to finish in a tie for 16^th place in leading the Xavier University men's golf team to a ninth-place finish in the Palisades Collegiate Classic on Tuesday afternoon at the Palisades Country Club in Charlotte, N.C. 

The Musketeers finished the three-round event with a 20-over par 884.  O'Neill's 217 included a four-under par 68, which was one shot over his career-best.  

Junior Michael Beausejour also put together a solid showing and finished in a tie for 34^th place at 223.  Beausejour opened up the tournament with a three-under par 69.  Senior Andy Connell rounded out the scoring with a 225 and finished in a tie for 42^nd.    

Xavier is back in action on April 19-20 when the team competes at the Purdue Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.
