2006-07: Saw action in eight tournaments during his junior year • Finished the season strong claiming sixth place at the Atlantic 10 Championships firing rounds of 71-71-69 (-5) • Turned in a season-low round of 69 (-3) in the final round of the Atlantic 10 Championship • Shot four rounds under par • Finished the season with a 74.54 scoring average.

Summer 2006: Finished 15th in the Ohio Amateur Championship with a score of 291 (75-73-72-71).

2005-06: Competed in two events as a sophomore • Turned in a season-best round of 76 (+4) during the opening round of the Xavier Invitational in the fall.

2005 Summer: Advanced to the quarterfinals in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Championship and competed in the Pro Am Matches • Finished in a tie for 13th in the Ohio Amateur.

2004-05: Opened up his collegiate career with a 16-over-par 226, including a 2-over-par 72 in the second round, at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational • Best showing of the year came at the St. Croix Classic as Keating shot rounds of 71-73-75--219 to finish at 3-over-par and in a tie for 20th • Finished in 28th place a month later at the Marshall Invitational after shooting rounds of 72-73-74--219.

2004 Summer: Finished sixth at the AJGA Indianapolis Junior and was a quarterfinalist at the 2004 Cincinnati Metropolitan Championship.
