Summer 2006: Finished 31st at the Ohio Amateur Championship, posting three rounds of 75 and a 73 in the final round.

2005-06: Opened his collegiate career with a 12-over-par 225 at the Cleveland State Invitational • Led the Musketeers along with teammate Jason Kokrak at the Mattaponi Springs Shootout, firing rounds of 71-73-70 earning him a 12th-place finish at the event • Shot a season-low round 67 (-5) during the final round of the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate • Finished seven rounds under par as a freshman.

Summer 2005: Finished in a tie for eighth at the AJGA in Columbus and finished in a tie for 16th at the Ohio Amateur.
