CINCINNATI - The Xavier baseball team is preparing to open the Atlantic 10 Conference portion of its schedule this Saturday, March 22, as it travels up the road to play a three-game series versus Dayton at UD's Time Warner Cable Stadium. The Flyers and Musketeers will meet on Saturday (1 p.m. ET), Sunday (1 p.m. ET) and Monday (1 p.m. ET) and fans can follow along on Gametracker by clicking here.  

Xavier (4-9, 0-0 A-10) is coming off a 12-1 loss at No. 2 Kentucky Thursday, March 20. The game was added on short notice due to both teams' games being cancelled earlier in the week due to weather. Sophomore Zac Richard currently carries a .333 batting average and has started in all 12 games he has played in this season for the Musketeers.

Dayton (10-5, 0-0 A-10) is coming off a 12-1 rain-shortened, six-inning loss at Tennessee Tech on Wednesday, March 19. The Flyers' Kevin Miller holds a .417 batting average and Jake Hoover (.367) leads the team with three home runs.
