High School...a four year letterman for head coach Bob Rowe at Bishop Brossart High School...led the northern Kentucky region in strikeouts during his junior and senior seasons...named to the All-District team in 2006 and 2007...helped his team to a 22-10 record during his senior season...led his team to the 37th District Championship in 2006 after recording a 2.47 ERA with 96 strikeouts in 61 innings pitched...also lettered in basketball for three years and helped Bishop Brossart to the 2007 Class A state championship and a 28-5 record
