Greg Park, who came to Xavier as its first-ever Athletic Business Manager in 1988, is the Associate Athletic Director for Business. Park came to Xavier in 1988 after spending 11 years as the Internal Auditor of the Cincinnati Reds.

Park, 59, has the authority and responsibility for the management of the Athletic Department's business and personnel policies. Specifically, Park manages 141 sport budgets. Other financial activities involve the department's cash flow management, departmental purchases, insurance policies, personnel supervision and special projects. Greg also serves as the department's liaison with the business community. He took on additional responsibilities in 1997 through 2005 as the administrator for the rifle team, which finished second at the 2000 NCAA Championships.

During 2000, Park assisted with the Cintas Center athletic office design, equipment and the personnel move to the new offices. In 1988 the athletic staff numbered 27. Currently there are 65 employees.

Park was the College Athletic Business Management Association District Six Representative from 1997-2002. During 2001 he was elected first runner-up in CABMA's national election for Business Manager of the Year. Park received his master's of business administration degree in management from Bowling Green State University in 1972 and his bachelor's degree in business administration from Wittenberg University in 1970.

Park lives in Anderson Township with his wife, Pam, an elementary school counselor, and son Logan, who is in the doctorial program at Virginia Tech's School of Environmental Studies. Daughter Megan is married and is an elementary school speech pathologist in Anderson Township.
